OpenAI’s GPT Store delayed to 2024

OpenAI's GPT Store, an app store for AI applications, has postponed its launch to early 2024. Initially set for release in 2023, the delay is attributed to recent leadership disruptions within OpenAI.

Despite a working prototype showcased in November and some available GPT models, the store's business model and developer compensation plans remain unclear.

For now, OpenAI customers can create and share GPTs directly, but these won't be publicly listed or part of any revenue-sharing until the store's official launch.
